Carrier Strike Group (CSG)

An ARG focuses on rapidly deploying Marines and their equipment to shore, emphasizing flexibility and precision. Whether for combat, evacuations, or disaster relief, ARG ships coordinate closely to put boots on the ground wherever they are needed.

Key elements of an ARG include:

An amphibious assault ship, an amphibious transport dock, and a dock landing ship — working together to deliver Marines, vehicles, aircraft, and landing craft from sea to shore. Coordination between ships, aircraft, and landing forces for precise operations. Quick-response capability for crises both ashore and at sea.
